Of Paper and Ponies (and Science!)

An adventurous scientist stuck in a stagnant world. With paper! And sometimes ponies!

Ok I’m done….

crisscrosscutout:

If I hear the word mucus one more time I will rip someone’s face off.

If I am asked a question about the differences between firbroelastic and musculocavernous penis types I will rip someone’s face off.

If I hear anymore about secretions being secreted I will rip someone’s face off.

If I hear any more about ‘uterine milk’ I will rip someone’s face off.

If I am asked to outline the changes in the anterior vagina under the influences of estrogen versus progesterone I will rip someone’s face off.

If there is one thing I have taken away from my repro class it is that everything comes down to some kind of mucus getting secreted somewhere else…

Fuck mucus…

I thought I was just completely nuts when I felt this way about 8 weeks into repro phys x_x everyone else kept acting like every little thing we learned was super-unique and new (it didn’t help that it was a dairy-oriented class and these were farm kids), and all I kept thinking was “it’s just more mucous membrane and mucus secretion…it’s exactly the same…”

I had issues with mucus and the word “mucus” before that class, but that’s NOTHING compared to how I feel about it these days. :|
