I might agree with this

Me: man, I always felt like Leviticus was the most violent book in the bible hands-down, but re-reading it, I think Samuel could beat it if you put 1 & 2 together...at least Leviticus had "reasons" for the killing. And what's with all these foreskins?! Guess you learn something new every time you re-read it.

Bible Study time! Whee!

So I’m re-reading the bible. I mean, it’s been a LONG time since I last read it thoroughly (not just for citations)…I think I was 14 the first time I read it through. I admit I’m skipping over a lot of the genealogical stuff this time…once you get to Abraham/Isaac/Ishmael, it’s just a giant clusterfuck of names and years, with very few having actual relevance....
